Dispatch #004: Steady Trip to Lincolnshire. Hardly Any Snow
THE MISSION
THE LOG
Woke up this morning to about 10cm of Slush Puppy in the yard. It hadn’t snowed much overnight, it was windy though. I woke up cold, stuck the night heater on and got up when the cab had thawed out!!
I set off to Hinckley to collect a brand new, German made, panel saw for a company near Woodhall Spa. Steady drive over to Lincolnshire with hardly any snow on the ground over that way.
I had to bring a panel saw back from Lincolnshire that the company had traded in to the CNC company. It took a while to get the new one in and the traded in one onto the wagon.
Steady drive back to Hinckley to return the panel saw then back to the yard to finish up for the week.
Mondays Manifest: Collect in Coventry (can’t collect until after 9am), take to Merseyside. Collect somewhere over that way (I’ve forgotten the location!!) and deliver that to Leeds, probably Tuesday morning. I know for Tuesday I’ll be heading up to Middlesborough to collect a CNC machine to take back to Hinckley.
