THE LOG

First day back for 2026 and it’s a bit of a shocker! A crisp -4°C at the yard near Coventry this morning.

I’m currently loaded with CNC machinery from Hinckley destined for Prescot, near Liverpool. Once that’s off, I’m hauling two older machines from the same site back to the supplier. It’ll be a bit of “bits and bobs” for the next fortnight before I get back into the heavy stuff with the full-time timber haulage.

This is officially my first ‘Dispatch’ post. The Haulage Log is my personal digital diary of life on the road as a ‘Tramper.’ It’s a dedicated corner of my main site, All Over the Place—a title that fits my geographic location and my attention span equally well!

I’ve no idea if anyone will actually follow these updates, but if nothing else, at least Yolanda and the kids can see what I’m up to! 😂
